Default 300 bundled with A30 is not a combo disk
I just got the A30 and it came with Bourne and 300 and I just noticed that 300 is not a combo disk. I thought it was kind of odd that WB pressed a noncombo disk excusively for the bundle. Maybe this is a precursor for things to come.

Can you take any pics or scan the covers of both sides?? This would be great! It'll be interesting to see what/if any differences there are.

This is kind of a good omen for what hopefully means europe will get the 2 pack-in titles as well.

The european (Norwegian) release of 300 is a noncombo disc.

Warner has been releasing many of its titles as non combos a few months after they release.

You'd figure it would make sense for them to do this as a non combo has got to be a little bit cheaper for them to produce, and they know the people buying it will have the HD DVD player.

Plus they don't want anyone putting in the DVD side by accident and thinking the upgrade to HD wasn't worth it.

I suspect you will see a non combo release of 300 in a few months as well.

does anyone know if the 2 dvds and mail in rebate come if you buy the A30 from amazon? thanks
i just bought a samsung 52" 1080p LCD HDTV and the A30.

If you have the non-Combo '300', I'd trade you the Combo version for it. The Combo is having problems in my HD-XA2, but maybe you'll have better luck.

I just told you that I don't buy combos.

What I want to do is hopefully get lucky and find the non-combo version of 300 on eBay.
