What's with the DVD-quality sound - on BOTH formats, no less? It isn't even DD+? I'll pass on this one until they do it right.

Sound isn't usually a dealbreaker for me, but this just seems lazy.

If I read that wrong please correct me.

DD+ does the job for me, but DD is definitely not good enough. Lucky I prefer HD DVD anyway.

Saw the movie on cable recently, thought it was pretty good. I don't think I'll be picking it up on release, but probably during a lull period in releases (God knows when that is) I'll grab it.

I loved the movie... definitely one of the lesser Scorsese titles but still impressive. I'll be picking this one up. Definitely will look good in HD.

Great movie. I just wish it could have expanded more on Hughe's OCD later in life.

Wow. That's why I love movies. I would never imagine that people could walk out of The Aviator or Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Not like they're Citizen Kane or anything, but that shows how subjective movie criticism is. With that said, I'll wait for the review to see if the picture pops, before I upgrade from the DVD version.
