Default 'The Hurricane' - High-Def Digest review

Kenneth's review of 'The Hurricane' is up. Although opinions are mixed on the film's somewhat fictionalized account of Ruben Carter's real-life story, Kenneth says this HD DVD release is quite strong, boasting an above-average video transfer, an impressive audio mix, and the same list of supplements as the previously released Collector's Edition DVD.

I loved the Hurricane ! Its a really emotional and life changing film! I do recommend it to all the denzil fans! Even though there isnt much replay value, its still worth watching !

Im trying to get my hands on this and Dawn of the Dead sometime next week!

Yeah while the background of the story is very 'iffy' based on the actual facts. I still watch it and pretend its about someone who really did all these things that 'Rube' supposedly did.

I came into it being unaware of the story...how much does it bend the truth? Are they just exaggerating his success in the realm of boxing?
