Default 'Blades of Glory' - High-Def Digest review

Peter's review of 'Blades of Glory' is up. Overall, he says Paramount's first HD DVD-only release is a winner, boasting strong audio and video a fairly extensive supplements package.

great review..although i didnt think it was that great a film...on par with talladega nights..but im missing will farell in good comedies like Old School, Anchorman, and so on/ thats were he was great..these are almost stupid comedies..basically anything with jon heder in it involves stupidity.

Wow. 24-bit TrueHD track. Paramount isn't holding anything back (well except for a higher sample rate).

Glad to hear the story is decent and well acted. I ended up ordering this to show my appreciation to Paramount, but now it is looking like a worthy release in any case.

Can't speak for BB, but the free book at CC is packaged with the standard DVD, so no freebie with the HD DVD, unfortunately.

confused,

Hometheater spot says it's only DD+, here it is TrueHD...All the cover art's i've seen show only DD+

So did Paramount slip in TrueHD in a last minute switch-a-roo?

I've corrected the Pohler/Arnett error, and have asked Peter to confirm the TrueHD track... he should weigh in soon.

Hey guys --

Sorry, the TrueHD track is not on the disc, despite being announced as such. It was a mistake in the text part, much apologies...

I've fixed the error.
