Default 'Heroes: Season 1' - High-Def Digest review

Peter's review of 'Heroes: Season 1' is up. He says the breakout TV hit oif the year makes quite the HD DVD debut, stuffed with hours and hours of extras and some cutting-edge high-def exclusives that really push the boundaries of the format. Okay, so the video transfers can get a bit noisy at times and the audio is somewhat underwhelming, but as TV-on-high-def box sets go, he says this first season of 'Heroes' is now the one to beat.

What were you expecting out of a tv show? As well, you just take the review at face value?

No doubt about it....BUY IT!

Or if you're still unsure, you can watch the entire season here so you can test the show before you buy it.

But trust me...you'll wanna buy it

Can't wait to get my copy... I'm hoping to have a little Heroes marathon over the long weekend.

I've got this on order from Amazon.

I watched a few episodes when it was airing and I didn't really get into it. I thought I'd give the HD DVDs a shot because I tend to watch TV shows over and over.

Furthermore, I'm starving for HD content. We don't get any over-the-air content here in Canada and our cable networks don't offer much HD content yet.

Finally, everyone seems to rave about this show, so I think I should give it another shot. If I don't like it, I'm sure I can trade it for some flicks.
