Though supplements are not yet known, it looks to be another "twin format" release featuring both HD DVD and DVD versions.

Well that's cool, and it sounds like it is HD DVD only still. Probably should get one of these some day...

Like I said with the first release, too expensive for a >30 minute episode but it's good to see continued use of the twin format.

It has me wondering if the higher price is due to it being an anime (which are usually higher priced anyway) or because of the twin format disc.

It would be nice if they could get that working with HD30 with decent yield rates.

Yeah, the price has me pissed, but they have me by the short and curlys ever since I saw vol. 1.

Well, i must admit i purchased Volume 1 without previously seeing it.
Watched it the other night, loved it. I then proceeded to spend 15 minutes
trying to acess 'episode 2', when i realized it only contained 1 episode.
Boy did i feel silly once i actually read the back of the cover and noticed
it said '25 minutes'....DOH!!!

Price is really too much for only 1 episode, so hopefully i can find a sale for
episode 2, which i'm really looking forward to watching.

OK WTF is up with Amazon only offering a 10% discount on volume 2??? Volume 1 had a 30% discount
OK, thats odd, just noticed they are listing vol.2 as a combo disc... Is that just an intentional typo to avoid confusion that it can be played on a DVD player?

Freedom Vol. 2 (HD DVD & DVD Combo)
List Price: $39.99
Price: $35.99 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping. Details
You Save: $4.00 (10%)

Freedom Vol. 1 [HD DVD]
List Price: $39.99
Price: $27.95 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping. Details
You Save: $12.04 (30%)

EDIT: I went and read the 7 reviews...

I hope Bandai pays attention to reviews like this. Every review liked the show but over half gave it 1-2 stars because of high price and only 25 min. viewing time.
some stated they wouldn't buy future volumes.
