Thumbs up 'Pulse' -- High-Def Digest review

I love horror movies, and I laughed all the way through this one:

Pretty good disc, though. Solid transfer and soundtrack, and more extras than the film really deserves.

You had me for a minute there, I thought this was one you actually enjoyed! The trailer for this looked really good but the film turned out to be very poor. Don't think I'll waste money on this one!

This comes as no surprise, since the original was boring as hell. I find that it's very hit or miss with Asian horror films, and even more so for the American remakes.

Yes, the movie was boring.

I'm surprised to see that there was no mention in the review of a Dolby TrueHD track. My copy contained this track, as I found out when accessing the menu. Only problem was I experienced skipping, so I changed over to the Dolby Digital track, which helped for the most part.

Anyone who bought this from Amazon for $22.49 in the last week or 2. The price just dropped $1.50 and if you call them they will refund you the difference.... still trying to decide if $1.50 is worth my time.

I'm debating whether Kristen Bell can overcome a movie that doesn't seem impressive (from the trailers/reviews I've come across) in a genre I don't like. Hmm...
