Default 'Santana: Hymns for Peace' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Peter's review of 'Santana: Hymns for Peace.'He says the video transfer on this HD DVD is typical of the best live high-def concert recordings, boasting a very vivid presentation. However, while the included Dolby Digital and DTS tracks are perfectly fine in their own right, he says they just can't compare to the true high-resolution audio on similar releases...

I love HD Concerts on HD-DVD/Blu-Rays. This is one of the worst sounding titles so far. I love Santana, but I wasted my money on this one!

PQ 3
AQ 2.5

I thought it looked and sounded great!! I actually rented it from Netflix and will definitely be picking this up!! One of the better HD concerts I've seen.
Mischa.

Finally took a look at this one and It was much better than what I expected. PQ is no less than a 4/5- it looks really good.
AQ was not bad either.

I am not really a Jazz guy, but the songs on here are quite good. I recognized several of the songs and overall I would recommend this to fans of Santana, there are a couple of songs from him in there too.
Great Concert and am glad I didnt return it...
