    Default Constantine?

How does this title look on HD-DVD. I loved this movie and would love to see it in HD.

Same goes for Chronicles of Riddick. loved that movie too and wouldnt mind seeing it on HD

I think you and I might be the only two people on this earth that like this movie then. I've been saying all along that the TrueHD and the PQ is one of the best and honestly the two combined outdoes even Batman Begins. Now keep in mind, I am NOT saying it is a better a movie, but what I am saying is that the WHOLE package meaning SQ and PQ is one of the best around IMHO. It is usually one of the movies I showcase when I have people over. If you like the movie don't even hesitate to purchase it (again).

I think this title looks awesome (Constantine). It also has a really great truehd soundtrack. Well worth buying in my opinion. If only Keanu Reeves didn't look so damned stoned the whole time

You can count me as the fourth. Amazingly enough I enjoyed both films, albeit not great films by any means but entertaining. I agree with Bee that PQ and AQ are surprising. I also use them to showcase my system, such scenes as the as the final fight with the angel at the end of Constatine and the race with the sun on Riddick along with the plane crach on Superman Returns, the T-Rex battle on King Kong, and the shuttle blast on Space Cowboys.

Saw the movie for the first time with the HD-DVD release, it's pretty good! The movie is interesting, and the video/audio quality is topnotch.

Yep, T-Rex battle goes in the player once a week to show someone the quality, as well as the plane crash in SR (funny, just showed both of these scenes yesterday).

As far as Constantine, the knock on the door when he's having a smoke sitting at his table is so realistic as well as the PQ of the cup over the spider. The crash scene at the beginning will make you wet your pants, and the scene when they are in the street surrounded by the sounds of talons was good, and when the devil stops time and enters the room the sound of the glass envelopes you....good stuff. In fact, I think I'm going to start a thread asking people what scenes they like to reference.

    Bee,

that's an excellent idea. we should all share our reference titles. but I would go so far as to ask about volume setting of each individual speaker, if you have that feature on your receiver, to make your system really impress. or at least, I wanna know.

I just posted it in the general section (both formats). Sorry I didn't read what you wrote, but I'll edit.

With SR , I had the 360 set to 1080i and seen a lot of vertical lines, so I set it back to 720p and there were no lines at all on Constantine or Bourne.

I remember reading on Xbox.xom (I believe) that the 360 is always better at 720p, although, I'm sure they were referring to when playing games.

my set is native 1080p (kds-60a2000), and the 360 looks alot better in 1080i then it does on 720p.
