Default 'American Me' - High-Def Digest review

An honorable but flawed film, Peter says 'American Me' on HD DVD is average high-def at best, featuring another reheated video transfer and audio package from Universal. He says this one's still a step up from the standard DVD, but it's not enough to rank more than a rental.

Funny, I watched this as a rental last week. It wasn't outstanding, but it it seemed decent enough.

I don't know about 2.5 -- more like three. Accurate review nonetheless. I was still impressed because it was an improvement over the SD DVD, which was full of chroma noise, dull colors, and overly soft.

So now DAYLIGHT looks okay? A few weeks ago it was given poor marks. SNEAKERS looks 10 times better that DAYLIGHT, I'm sorry but I will defend SNEAKERS on HD DVD. I thought it looked pretty good.

Managed to get this for 4$ brand new, and man, it rocked!

I love movies that take a time warp through old school L.A.
Shit's rough too.

Yeah I've always wanted to see this movie, and long as it's better than the DVD I wouldn't mind buying it for $5 or less.
