Default 'Billy Madison' - High-Def Digest review

Peter's review of 'Billy Madison' is up. He says this HD DVD is probably as good as can expected for a catalog title of its caliber. Nothing great, but nothing awful -- audio, video and supplements alike are all pretty much average.

Buying it anyway...however, I never bought it on DVD for whatever reason, so that is a factor.

Happy Gilmore was ok, but this is the pinnacle for his sweet-yet-violent-moron characters. Pretty much everything else he has done in a "starring" role = ugh.

I only saw parts of it and never picked up the DVD as well.

I'll probably buy it if/when Best Buy/Future Shop has some type of special.

ive seen billy madison on one of the hd channels and i wasnt too impressed, i have all of his movies on sd so im not that crazy to get them on hd. ill upconvert them. his blu ray movies i think click and 50first dates are pretty nice to look at, maybe because there newer. If i had to get any hd dvd of his its the wedding singer, gotta love the 80's man.

Yeah, I do dig "The Wedding Singer", I would love to get that on HD. Billy Madison is not really my thing.

I would probably buy Punch Drunk Love if Sony releases it on Blu Ray. Otherwise I cannot think of any Adam Sandler films I would want to own.

I agree The Wedding Singer, along with Punch Drunk Love, is Adam Sandler's better work.

As for Billy Madison's PQ, I agree with the review: clean and very nice, just nothing exciting about it -- really boring actually, if that's possible.
