I have many HD-DVD titles that I really enjoy. But the Eagles concert HD-DVD release is one that immediately comes to mind. I thoroughly enjoy their music, and this HD-DVD is absolutely awesome with its excellent video and DTS HD-MA 5.1 sound.

I have a few quilty pleasures. One is Serenity the picture quality is outstanding, some of the space scenes look almost 3D. Another favority of mine is King Kong, watching Kong on the big screen in all its glory is something to be experienced.

You know King Kong (2005) on DVD or even HD DVD doesn't bring the same experience as it did in theaters. I haven't been able to re-watch it at all.

Despite having some of my favorite movies on HD-DVD (Casablanca, Stardust, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Hot Fuzz, Death at a Funeral), I'm going to copy Djfunkmaster's answer of Terminator 2 (the German steelbook). I remember when it came out, there was a sense it would be the last HD-DVD release, so it was pretty sweet when it was actually released (and came fully loaded with supplements, no less). Combined with Terminator 2 being my favorite movie as a kid, the release was chock full of sentimentality.

So far, my favorite is the French Import Deluxe Edition of Pan's Labyrinth. It came with 5 discs, including a soundtrack CD and a great hardcover book. My slipcase for it is pretty banged up though, I wish I could find a replacement for it.

Smokey and the Bandit. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for the Bandit and Snowman set to 'East Bound and Down'. (and I can't forget Fred) Crank up the volume, enjoy me some fat calves, and the rest is just icing on the cake.

While the HD DVD leaves a lot to be desired in terms of PQ/AQ, the movie itself is just all around fun top to bottom. Even I pop it in once and a while when I wanna watch non-stop comedic carc hases involving Jackie Gleason.

I think this about to hit Blu-Ray soon if it has not already, but no matter already have the HD DVD myself and still enjoy it once and a while.

I just wish HBO would have put The Wire on HD DVD or Blu-Ray. I love that show. Just got done with a monthly 5 season marathon. I set aside 5-6 days and just watch every single episode non-stop, love it, I am addicted, however, HBO did so much compression to the show to fit 4 episodes per DVD in some seasons that it seriously affects PQ

They did work very well off each other. Jerry Reed has a lot of talent that was overlooked. He could easily handle comedy. Shame his career in film didn't go farther.

I was just reading up on S&TB the other day and had to laugh when I read that Billy Bob Thornton said "S&TB is a documentary about the south"
