    Just wanted to give people the list of equivalent European and American Toshiba players. So it is easy to see which players the disc is working in.

    2nd gen.
    E1 = A2
    XE1 = XA2
    EP10 = A20

    3rd gen.
    EP30 = A30
    EP35 = A35

    There were no European versions of the 1st generation players, and also no European version of the A3.

    I just feel like something isn't right. I was very adamant about following SEGA's video on how to assemble it to the letter. He did a very good job making the tutorial... but I just cannot get them to work at all.

    I originally built the Movie on a WIN XP system, then I find out WIN XP doesn't support UDF 2.5 so I took everything over to my laptop which is Windows 7 and rebuilt it from scratch, rendered the folder and ripped it using IMG Burn and again... all my players read it as NO DISC

    However, if you want to stay more calm I can send you my address and sent me the disc and try.
    Oh Sega I am calm, just disappointed that this is not working for me, but it is for you. I even re-setup one of my PC's to Vista, just so I was using same software as you were.... Disc Burned but won't play.

    If you want to email me your address I will ship you a few of these RiDisc HD DVD's to try and let me know if they work for you. I just find it weird I cant get any of them to play back

    (I now have nearly 50 Bad burns since I rec'd the original shipment from Zelda.)

    Until I can get a working ISO image file that i can just do copies of I will not waste anymore of this media.

    I think you do evil is not the estrucctura the video but the video recording.

    You IMburn capture step ensures that the options are as well.

    Just a suggestion, not sure how big the files are or what not but why not use dvd 9's for your testing. You may have shrink project a bit or drop few items but for testing structure this should work.
    Video: 70" JVC HD-70G886, Denon 2807, Toshiba HD-A2, Toshiba BDX2000, aTV, SageTV
    Audio: Athena WS-100 (F), WS-60 (C,SL/R), WS-15 (SBL/R), AS-P4100

    You can use DVD-R DL but I assure you from experience that when they spend several days the player can not read the disc.

    But to prove you can use this type of media.

    I have made some system tweaks to my PC's and did a fresh install of the Vista OS, and all software... The only thing the system runs is ULEAD, IMG Burn and VISTA (Inc, all drivers needed)

    I did an entire re-encode of the movie file using 1920x1080 settings in Vegas 10.0 Pro, I also re-enocded all of the other video bits as well in 1920x1080 in VEGAS and re-assembled the entire disc structure in ULEAD. Once the ISO and Folders are done I will go into IMG Burn and make the adjustments Sega Recommended and then hopefully we will have something successful to use and show to folks.

    Hi Guys/Gals, sorry I have not been on here, a busy b'day weekend.

    Looking at the posts from the weekend, and the emails I received from DJ, I hope that ££££'s has not been wasted on shite media, though I have more problems with TDK and Verbatim than other less known brands (DVD's).

    I expected coasters and although 50 is lot, as a learning curve I don't think it is bad, just frustrating for all involved.

    Segaklon, pm me your address and I will post you a couple HD DVD-r discs, unless Gary has already posted them to you.

    Hi Zelda, dont know if it might be worth to send me HD DVD-R discs I have a good arsenal and all are manufactured by Ritek, so do not think the problem is in the discs.
    I will make a working mini HD DVD-Video and I'm going to send to Gary and tell me if it works on your player or not working.

    I'm trying to explain to Gary that as a last resort you can sell the product by adding a note if you have any compatibility issues with any player as it is impossible to test all players.

    I need someone who speaks Spanish.

    To make the video Reencoded I recommend you use the following program.

    ULTRA VIDEO CONVERTER

    Segaklon, I have faith in the discs, but if you need a ridisc to check, even though manufactured by the same company let me know, will happily post.

    I have a Spanish phrase book at home, and know a little Dutch, (French - a litlle more) and Italian but that is as far as it goes.

    The structure of the disc seems to be important for Toshiba players.
