Great! I was waiting for the review to decide on this one. Sounds like reference material. Guess I'll be going with the "dead format" version for the better audio.

I had a major interest in this one ever since it was at Theaters, but never got a chance. I loved 'Hustle & Flow' and I have a lot of respect for its director, so what was first a rent will now be a purchase for me

This was such a strange film, it really was. Everything from the marketing to the subject matter to characters in the film. Just really bizarre stuff and I think thats why i really enjoyed this film. I will say that Christina Ricci was just smokin hot in some of the scenes in this film. Smokin hot! This was a blind buy for me so its great news to hear that its a solid release.

I will never forget the look on my wifes face after seeing one of the 15 second trailers to this film that basically just show Christinna Ricci in nothing but underwear with a huge padlocked chain around her waist trying to escape from S. Jacksons house with him basically pulling her back into the house like a dog. No explaination about what the film was about at all, just a big black guy pulling a little white girl into a house and then reading from the bible. Pretty funny stuff and she still hasnt seen it yet. I think she will ultimately really like the film but its just funny how off the marketing was on alot of the teaser commericals and its hilarious the reaction alot of people had to those trailers.

Blind buying for sure. Was very interested in theaters, but never got around due to other films being out at that time. Now, it's a wrap. Can't wait!

Default This movie is garbage!

This is a dumb movie.........don't believe the hype. These type of movies are nothing more than the left in hollywood trying to push their liberal agenda on the American public. Won't work............that is why trashy movies like these bomb. Americans are just not comfortable with this type of controvarsial content. That is just the way I see it. You may not agree with me, but that is fine, I have a right to my opinon. If you don't like it, oh well. The truth hurts. If I want to see white trash like Cristina Ricci, all I have to do is go to my local Wal-Mart.lol It's to bad she got involved in such a horrible movie, I have liked most or her work for the most part. Not only that, Samual Jackson is a horrible actor. I have never liked him or his movies............Pulp Fiction was just weird and stupid. Never watched Snakes On A Plane, poor reviews and I hate snakes! Anyways, I won't be getting this even if it was gave to me.

If you didn't like Pulp Fiction and think Sam Jackson is a "horrible actor" then i would really like to know who's your fav actor and movie?

This movie is great but i didn't think it would be worth it in HD but now im having second thoughts - might still pick it up, just not right away

Breaking News: following complaints of liberal bias, paramount are now bringing out a new version for rightwingers.
Instead of chaining Ricci to a radiator, Lazarus, now played by Jesse Ventura, decides to exploit the situation for personal gain, and pimps Ricci out in the parking lot of the local creationist theme park.

"White Trash" Christina Ricci can come over to my trailer any day. Been a fan since "The Opposite of Sex", a very funny movie.

My copy of Black Snake Moan should be here Friday, looking forward to it.
