Thumbs down 'Field of Dreams' -- High-Def Digest review

Kinda a disappointment:

The transfer is rather poor -- pretty flat and fuzzy. Soundtrack is dull, too. At least there are some good extras, but hardly a great upgrade over the standard-def version.

I'm totally disappointed about this. I was ready to pick it up tomorrow too.
Is this becoming the norm with older movies? If its old its not gonna benefit from the HD upgrade?

I thought Field of Dreams looked better than Dune. But I also thought Meet The Parents looked very good, even though most people are underwhelmed by it. Guess it all depends on what you are looking for in presentation.
