Default Can anybody post the specs for the HD DVD of SEXY BEAST?

I have the UK Blu-ray of Sexy Beast on order from Amazon.co.uk and I wanted to make a comparison between the HD DVD and that disc, since they are both from 4dvd and there have been no updates or reviews since the initial announcement.

I'm looking for feature size and bit rate, audio/video codecs, a list of extras and whether the video extras are in HD or PAL format.

Thanks!

Just curious, why do you want to compare specs between them? Are you thinking about buying the HD DVD version?

No, I wanted to know if I had an HD DVD port on my hands, which I did, so I sent the Blu-ray back to Amazon. 4dvd should have done a quality release on a BD-50 in 1080p and with DTS-HD MA instead of porting they're 18GB HD DVD tranfser (they did however, remember to region-lock the Blu-ray).

I sent my sealed Blu-ray back to Amazon.co.uk and will wait for the US Fox release, which will undoubtedly be better.

The size of the disc image or 1080i vs. 1080p is not really related to the format anyway since that HD DVD DL would have had space for up to 30 GB and no format related reason for using 1080i.

When I watched Sexy Beast on HD DVD the image seemed fairly good, didn't check the video stream on my PC though.

The HD DVD is 1080p as well. I don't know how McCrutchy came to the conclusion that it's 1080i. It's pretty clear in the AVS specifications thread that everything in the list is 1080p unless indicated otherwise. But just to be a sport, I did check with my demuxer.

the bd released like last week in the UK is NOT 1080p for some unknown reason.
the HD DVD is apparently 1080p.
makes no sense at all as both are from the same company--channel 4 or whatever they are called.
really strange.
I wish someone would call them up and ask how this happened.
it's stuff like this that makes you wonder what the hell is going on with hd media.
