Are they error listings? In all probability almost certainly yes.
I have gone ahead and ordered both (after all wishful thinking never hurt anyone). Amazon-de say that they will be ready to despatch in 3 to 6 weeks.
Interestingly, I have received an email from Amazon-de saying that Charlie Wilson's War will be shipped between the 25th of May and the 8th of June:
"Tom Hanks, et al "Charlie Wilson's War [HD DVD] [UK Import]" [HD
DVD]
Voraussichtliches Lieferdatum: 25.05.2009 - 08.06.2009"

This is a big maybe but maybe Amazon.co.uk have decided to ship a load of their remaining HD DVDs to Amazon-de to sell. penetration in Germany was better than that of the UK which instead is leading Europe in Blu-ray take up. These two HD DVDs are among a number of UK import HD DVDs that Amazon-de have put up as coming their way. They are the only unreleased titles among that list, however. Could it be that these two unreleased titles did in fact make it to Amazon-uk but were held back?

Wishful thinking maybe but wouldn't it be great though if they were to show up....

NCFOM is Disney 100% and they wouldn't release it on HD DVD in any other country (and 1.5 years after the format flopped?)
Charlie Wilson was never pressed nor close to being ready. If it was, Universal would have already released it on Blu-ray.

Except for the UK and other countries where it was released by Paramount.

Yes I understand that it is a ghost entry. Amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk don't talk to each other, this game has been played many times since the end of the format war.

Paramount owns the rights to NCFOM in the UK and has released it on Blu-ray, therefore the movie is not "100% Disney". It was a correction, not a hopeful post.
