e-dvd.pl sale
e-dvd.pl has dropped the prices on many Polish HD DVD releases. Some prices are halved, some are even cheaper. I received an e-mail advertising this sale as I have ordered from there a couple of times. This e-mail even included an English message (a bit strange English though) as follows:
Enjoy if still after some Polish releasesSeveral titles on in (to) greet cordially advice low price HD--DVD super. More :

Unfortunately the Polish movies released by TiM are not discounted and Katyn is no longer available from there. -

I once wrote some instructions about how to shop in e-dvd.pl:
http://forums.highdefdigest.com/show...dvd#post711302
The shipping cost to Japan for my 1 disc order and 2 disc orders were 32 zlotys both times. That might give some indication of the shipping costs.
XE currency converter is helpful in converting Polish currency to USD:
As an example:
50.00 PLN = 23.5717 USD -

My shipments from there took about 1 week or less to travel here, I was usually not sure when exactly they had shipped the packages out.

It was apparently true and it is supposed to include Mandarin audio as well. This was discussed in pkde's old thread: Curse of the Golden Flower (English audio) and Taxi 4 in Poland
I'm not sure if this was confirmed by somebody with the actual disc though. -

If anyone is so kind as to throw in an extra Hoodwinked on their order for me I'd be grateful.

There's no group order going on here at least yet. Maybe somebody will arrange something

I'm not after any of these titles currently as I already have all 5 discs I wanted from Poland already and I have other releases of some of these movies. -

Thanks for the link. I ordered 5 movies
Hoodwinked!
Arthur and the Invisibles
Apocalypco
Underworld: Evolution
Curse of the Golden Flower
I already have the last two, but since they are so cheap I thought I could double dip on those. Hopefully I didn't screw anything up. It cost 70 zl for shipping (about $33).
