Default Amazon France has some imports for 9.99 Euros

Too bad the shipping is so much to N. America...

Here are some of the 9.99 titles:

*Renaissance
*The Elephant Man
*Mulholland Drive
*Brotherhood of the Wolf
*La Grande Vadroulle
*Basic Instinct
*T2
*The Graduate
*Rambos (all three)
*Total Recall
*Serpico
*The Fog
*Leaving Las Vegas
*King Kong
*La Haine

Think there are some others too. And I just bought "Brotherhood" from a guy on here...damn.

Thanks for the tip!

I just ordered these (both 9.99 EUR, 8.35 after VAT reduction):

# 1 ex. de : La grande vadrouille [HD DVD]
# 1 ex. de : Prête-moi ta main [HD DVD]

No English subs on either one but I'll play with Titledrome or something again

I have pretty much all the Studio Canal releases already except La grande vadrouille and some that were released in the U.S. by other distributors.

Is there a way to know which titles have English audio/sub?

All of them have English audio. Although, I don't know about "La Haine," I haven't checked that title out.

Serpico has English audio, but forced French or German subtitles; you can adjust where you want the subtitles and make them smaller to where you want them to be so they don't get in your way.

With films that fill the whole 16:9 screen because of their aspect ratio like this one they can't be moved below the video image though since there are no "black bars".

I think most of the above are English language films, or have English subs, but Kannisto's import thread is very helpful, which you can find here:

Your link to Renaissance leads to Mulholland Drive. Here's the right URL: http://www.amazon.fr/Renaissance-HD-...pd_sbs_d_img_9

Also, Arizona Dream and Ran (for anyone who wants this movie, although there are no English subs) should be in the list as well.

Pm me if you are going to do an order with how much it would cost me. If it ends up being US $20 or under shipped to me. Id be in.

From the list:

*Renaissance
*La Grande Vadrouille

These 2 don't have English audio nor English subs though La Grance Vadrouille has some spoken English parts (and German and French). The German release of Renaissance has English audio but this is the French one.

*La Haine has English subs. Original audio language is French.

Default Amazon France Group Order

I'll do a small order this time since tormond has been so nice to do the last few. PM me for what movies you will want. The deadline will be tonight at 10 PM CST or earlier if titles start going out of stock quickly.

Thanks,
Christopher

Yeah, no English but a good classic movie with Finnish (and some other) subs

Studio Canal's page has good info on subtitles for many of these releases (in French):

Thanks for the link. I just ordered four titles, all the non-English ones. At that price, what the hell, I'll have to get that subtitle program and fiddle with it.

By the way, the two that I ordered were supposedly in stock but actual estimated shipping date is 3rd - 6th of June so maybe the "en stock" information is not reliable for all of the titles.

Is shipping rate for Amazon France a flat rate like Amazon Germany?

Nope, it starts at like 11 EUR for 1 movie and goes up 1 EUR for each movie after that at least for the US it does.
