1 KYASHAN - La rinascita (HD DVD) HD DVD movies generally in 5 days € 19,99
1 PIANO 17 (HD DVD) HD DVD movies generally in 5 days € 26,99

Products total: € 46,98
Shipping cost: € 31,77
Total: € 78,75

The site is available in English too (at least partially), easy to use. Shipping to European destinations may be much cheaper than this.

Casshern and Piano 17 are both included in their recent additions list here:
http://film-hd-dvd.dvd.it/classifica...categoria-HDV/

I'll add Casshern to Title List soon.
Please GOD do not order CASSHERN! You'll regret it! It looks nice but is CGI overkill. It's too much, too over the top. Seriously for the love of GOD don't! You're my friend and seriously reconsider dude. You too Ahsoka, reconsider.

Yes, the shipping cost was quite high so hopefully they can deliver the package within 5 days as they stated.

By the way, I still havn't recieved the Hatsukoi and Tegami BDs from YeaAsia but I'll post some pics later in the BD Imports Forum when I have them. I'm also waiting for the Keitai 2 HD DVD to arrive, noticed that you got it early, probably on release day...
Looking forward to your impressions on those two! I got Keitai 2 already 2 days before the release day from a B&M store in Akihabara. I didn't watch it yet though. The case didn't even seem to mention the HD DVD inside, it was only mentioned in a sticker on the outside of the plastic wrapper. It's an ordinary looking DVD case with 3 discs inside.

I've seen it already as I had a Japanese DVD box release of it. It wasn't my favorite movie or even close but I'd like to see it again in HD anyway and I think the Italian release will be a kind of collector's item. So it's not a blind buy in this case.

Let me guess, you're buying it for the pic and effects?

I'm going to order Ask the Dust and Plan 17 next month. Wow, that's high shipping to Japan. I thought 20 Euros was bad for my DVDGo order. Here's what my bill would be from DVD.it

TOTAL MERCHANDISE € 49,98 Trasporto € 6,99 TOTAL COSTS € 6,99 TOTAL ORDER € 56,9
Funny on this site that no English audio is mentioned for Ask the Dust but it has English subtitles. It does have the original audio per Area-DE's website, doesn't it?

I only watched it once a few years ago with my wife. We thought it was a bit off the wall and all over the place, but I remember it had some rather interesting visual elements in it which could look even better in HD. At 19.99 EUR it's not too bad (except for the shipping part). Anyway, I want to get Piano 17 from Italy as well so it's better to order more than one at the same time for that kind of shipping cost.

I'm not quite sure that Ask the Dust has English audio, here's the entry in mondohe.it (the distributor's own online shop) and it says only Italian audio and English only as subs:
http://www.mondohe.it/customer/produ...&cat=65&page=1

In the same site Bridge to Terabithia is listed with both Italian and English audio tracks (correct spec for it):
http://www.mondohe.it/customer/produ...&cat=59&page=1

Based on this I think Ask the Dust may likely not include English audio. I skipped ordering it because of that. I'll need to check if I should add some warnings in the title list...

I wish I could get that kind of shipping cost from DVD.it. I wonder why they only ship express to Japan. Other Italian sites seem to have issues with shipping to Japan as well, dvdland.it added Japan to their zone 2 shipping countries after I sent them an e-mail about it but I still can't create a shipping address there with Japan as destination as their pull-down country list doesn't include Japan. They are not replying to any of my e-mails either. mondohe.it offers 44 EUR shipping to Japan for 1 disc order so I skipped them too.

Adding to "Titles Available for Order":

Casshern (Italy - Dolmen ; Paramount)
dvd.it $31.60 (€19.99)
Warning: Italian and Japanese audio tracks, only Italian subtitles. Subs may be forced with orig. audio?

I'm still using the old color codes for U.S. distributors as there's not much point in changing them now.

Just got notice that my We Own The Night pre-order has been cancelled by dvd.co.uk.

They say their suppliers have withdrawn the item from sale.

I know of 2 Italian Spaghetti Westerns that have been released on BD in Italy by Mondo Home Entertainment, only with Italian audio tracks though.

- For a Few Dollars More
- My Name is Nobody

They were supposed to come out on HD DVD too but are still missing in action.

I don't know about any Spanish releases of Sergio Leone films though.

Are you thinking about these two Italian ones (BD versions linked because no HD DVD versions listed):

Yeah, I think this one will not be released. Amazon UK still has my order in and they haven't cancelled it yet but they removed the entry for the release already from the site though...

Sounds mysteriously like Bee Movie, eh?

I guess so. It seems at least some Amazon stores are not so good at removing cancelled titles from orders. I've had some hanging in my orders in Amazon.com, Amazon Japan and UK as well, they sometimes just seem to leave them there for long periods of time without any updates or automatic cancellation... I eventually cancel them myself to get a better view of my real open orders that can be expected to be fulfilled. There are those titles that they promptly remove as well. Maybe it depends on whether they get a proper announcement from the supplier or not.

Wow, that's really cheap not including the original audio. One would think the high end consumer there should expect that. I don't think I'll be a guinea pig though, so I'll pick something else instead but that's the one I wanted.
