Exclusively on HD DVD when it comes to High-Def.

Again it's only included as a "special feature" on initial printing of a DVD release.
Will get this of course. Can't understand the purpose of all these limited edition only HD DVDs though. It doesn't sound like a good idea at all, it's getting annoying...

I agree with that. extremely annoying.
I went ahead and ordered "Magic Flute" because I want to be sure to get it.
The only people sure to benefit from this policy are the "title scalpers" on ebay
I really hope they put an end to this bs soon.

Does anyone know why stargate sg-1 season 9 hddvd is being released by studio canal when the regular dvd was released by fox? I'm just worried if the listing for the hddvd is correct or not.

sorry, I can't include links yet but do a search on amazon.fr for
Stargate SG1 - L'Intégrale Saison 9 - Coffret 6 DVD
which looks like it was released by Fox

YesAsia have the Tegami BD listed as having English subtitles which means that the HD DVD should have them as well. It seems to be the only entry they've updated so far. Hope YesAsia is correct about this and that Hatsukoi will also be subtitled.

That would be excellent, I think I'd be forced to buy them if they had english subs

Studio Canal owns the distribution rights in France. Just not in America. Same goes to the movie.

kannisto have you had a chance to watch Testosteron yet? I'm close to pulling the trigger on the buy but I wanted to see your impressions on it first.

I watched Swiadek Koronny ("The State Witness" is the English title used in subtitles, instead of "The Crown Witness") last night instead, didn't watch Testosteron yet but I have taken case pics of both. About to process and upload them and then I'll write an impressions thread on Swiadek Koronny first. I'll try to watch Testosteron asap as well.

I used www.poltran.com as an aid in problematic points, but overall I thought it went pretty easily. I can check again and post some instructions, I didn't write anything down the first time...

Here are the case pics for Testosteron:

BTW I found another place to order Testosteron. The site is in Polish or English.

http://www.rockserwis.pl/ProductPres...roductID=88572

Its a bit more expensive from there 27.33 EU or about $40.45 US.

I just got mine
Xploited has it listed as OOP though. I wonder if it really is out of print and HMV is just clearing their last stock. If that's the case, ppl better go get it now before it's too late. I think I saw a listing go for 200$+ on ebay

How to order from http://www.edvd.pl:

First you need to register yourself to the site:
Click on the "Rejestracja [!]" link on the upper right corner of the page or use this direct link: http://www.edvd.pl/?v=rejestracja.

Fill in the following mandatory fields:
Nazwa konta
* Hasło = name for the account
* Powtórz hasło = password
* Imię = first name
* Nazwisko = last name
* Ulica, Numer domu = street, number of house
* Kod i Miasto = postal code and city
* Kraj = country (choose from list)
* Telefon = phone number
* E-mail

I put most of my address information on "street" field and left number of house blank. I put postal code and city in their dedicated field and chose "Japonia" from the list as country. Not sure what U.S. is in Polish but it can probably be figured out with poltran easily enough. Press the Wyslij button below once you are done. I don't remember if there were any steps after this before the registration is done, as I already did it and don't want to create another account right now. Probably that was pretty much it already.

After the registration information has been filled in, they send you an e-mail and you have to confirm registration by clicking on the link in the e-mail.

Once that's done you can log in with your account (right upper corner has field for account name, password and button for log in) and can put in orders.

You can search with HD DVD keyword in the upper left corner and press "szukaj" button to perform the search. They have currently 13 HD DVD titles listed. Click on the disc you want, and press "Do Koszyka" button to add it to cart. "Koszyk" button on the right upper side takes you to see your cart contents and from there you can proceed to check out with "Dalej" button. Your shipping address is prefilled based on your registered address. "Dalej" button takes you further again. You can always use www.poltran.com to try and translate parts you can't read that might be useful to read After that there was a credit card information entry as far as I remember and that's about it. In my case the site confirmed my credit card by opening my Japanese credit card supplier's page where another card specific password entry (part of my credit card account system, not related to the online shop) is again required to confirm.

...
I think Showgate is doing reprints if it has really gone out of print. In Japanese shops the availability went down at the end of last year but it's already improved since then. I think there is already some new supply from Showgate out. None of the Japanese HD DVD releases have disappeared from market yet though some of the titles had this kind of "out of print" situations already before.
