Info on import HD DVD titles

Anyway...Kannisto, has any 20th Century Fox title hit the HD DVD Import Market?

I'm really hoping for "Hitman" to be on HD DVD after it's theatrical release this upcoming month somehow, someway. Let's say if it was, I can pitcure it being a French Import, since it's labeled under Additional Details "Country France/USA" over at imdb.com

Distributors of films in various countries can be seen in IMDB, under the "Companies" field in each movie's entry. EuropaCorp is the French distributor for "Hitman". I don't think they have released any HD DVDs so far though. Here's the list of films they distribute according to IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/company/co0088063/

I think there are some 20th Century Fox titles in the HD DVD import market, for example Fantastic Four and the upcoming Fantastic Four: Silver Surfer.

I don't usually think of import exclusive releases in terms of original U.S. distributor though so I can't tell right off which import titles are 20th Century Fox titles in the U.S. I just think of them as titles that have not been released or announced in U.S. on HD DVD so far

I honestly never knew some movies could be released on other formats due to regions. Great news in my opinion. Can't wait for my HD DVD copy of Fantastic Four. I must thank my german friend Marcus ! lol

Yeah it is very nice. There are MANY movies on both formats, and this will only continue.

Also: HDDVDFormat reporting that apparently "Jimi Hendrix: Monterey" UK release moved to Nov 26th.

I have a feeling it has been postponed without any announced release date. Since it is Universal release in France, it should appear in Universal's French online shop whenever it is really officially announced and available... It never showed up there before either even though it was available for "pre-order" in Amazon France for a long time. It's strange...

Strange that this is still not available for pre-order in Amazon UK, the link is still only a "placeholder"...

I'm pretty much interested in all these BBC series but since I haven't seen any of them before they'd be blind buys... I ended up pre-ordering "Bleak House" from Amazon UK since they lowered the price a bit, though there are some indications it will be postponed.
