Out of Time (Japan - Toshiba Ent.) impressions and pics

I'm going to buy a couple today so let me know if you want one, preferably by PMs. The prices are likely to be 4030 or 4530 yen each unless I find something especially cheap. Those are the common price points at B&M stores now. Shipping is 1200 yen by EMS (tracking, 3-5 days) or 420 by Air Mail (5-10 days, no tracking) to U.S. destinations. I want the payments by paypal, including paypal fee coverage to cover all costs incurred.

The total price is going to about 4700 for one with cheaper shipping option and 5500 yen with the more expensive shipping option including everything. I picked up 3 so far, one of them is spoken for now. 1USD is approx. 100 yen now.

I have mostly shipped EMS to U.S. and once to Canada. That one is typically taking 3-5 days and gets delivered on weekends too but typically needs to be received in person or by a household member.

Air mail / small package is my usual method when I send something to Europe and usually it goes to Europe within a week but I guess it may take 5-10 days to U.S. and maybe a day or two longer to Canada as I think the customs clearance is a bit slower in Canada.

I've sent PMs to all and I'm ready to send them out on Wednesday morning local time as Tuesday is still a national holiday here and the local post office is closed.

If others want those I can still probably find one or more (though not many) at the same price. Let me know if you want one. I'm on holiday this week so I have some time to look for them. I also saw a few more at MRSP prices (5040 yen each) today in one store.

Today I also found HD DVD-RW discs by Ridata which I didn't know even existed! Never seen rewriteable ones before in any stores (including online stores). Some were announced by another manufacturer before Toshiba's format dropping announcement and subsequently pulled. HD DVD keeps evolving They were also rather cheap at around $8 each. Bought 5 to try them out.

Sure, let me know what you are still missing afterwards. Some discs are not available from B&M stores with any discounts though as some of the stores that still have the best selections left always sell them at MRSP, so that kind of titles may be best to order e.g. from HMV JP if they still have some stock.

It reached you pretty fast then, good to hear that you got it already! EMS is sometimes very fast like this but sometimes not quite as fast, I think it depends a lot on the locations and how well they are connected to EMS transfer hubs.
