Alright.. Id like to start off by saying..WOW.

Alot of you know that I have been super pumped since Arkadin posted that list of german releases for november in December. Ive must asked Kannisto about 5 times if he heard any news.

But finally,, it is here..and it is AMAZING!

First off,, for the movie itself, you either like it or you dont. If you want Non-Stop Testostirone filled action and a stupid excuse to for it all, then you will think this movie is AWESOME! As for the others,, you probably dont care enough to finish reading this...

Now for that HD stuff.

The PQ:

Is truly Unbelievable...
The detail is soo great..his light beard looks more detailed then that of shreks.
The best I own..More detailed and vibrant then Transformers, Hot Fuzz, or The Prestige!! The non stop action with perfect PQ makes this movie a must import.

The AQ:

Is it possible to sound even better than it looks.
The answer my friends,, is YES!
With DTS -HD 5.1 it sounds like im experiencing it first hand. This is up there with Transformers!

Overall...Just WoW!
Im not going to lie...maybe its just the fact that I love the movie to much and rate it a little exageratory(*cough* Peter/ Blade Runner review *cough*)..but this truly is what HD should look like. Not only is it the best HD picture I seen,, but it and Transformers are best Sound of heard.
If you like this movie enough to buy it on DVD,, then by all means,, It is worth every penny to get the Import. TOUCHDOWN!

No,, sadly my HDTV is in the "Theatre Room" and my modem is in the Den.
and I dont think I can use Wifi with the HD-A30s..correct me if Im wrong.

But the 2nd disc has all the extras from the DVD..(In SD,, which is a dissapointment)

The 2nd disc also has Fuck You written in sharpie to make it look like the one he watched in the movie. Humorous...but still no reason why there isnt HD extras.

This and Smokin Aces are the Greatest days in my HD life.
Honestly..Smokin Aces was amazing..Not nearly as action packed,, but I thought the ending was truly awesome..and the Score.

Well yes and no. I believe you should be able to hook up one of those Game Adapters.
Basically it's a Wi-fi "card" that you plug directly into an Ethernet port.
How you step it up, I couldn't say. Never used one. But I assume you can plug it into your computer, put all the correct settings in it, then plug it in the back of the HD-DVD player.I don't remember how much these cost though.

Wow this looks cool. To bad it's 45 bucks .

damn, sounds good. crank is honestly one of my favorite movies. i can watch it over and over again. i really want to get the HD DVD but it's pretty pricey on xploited. maybe i'll place an order after xmas

I havent watched the second disc,, I just know that they are all in SD..
But I guess if they are region 2 then I cant play...well at least I got an extra disc with fuck you written On it.

sounds like this release is just as good as blu-ray. I own it on bd but for anyone who is hd exclusive and likes action movies, this seems like a must have.

Absolutely incredible transfer...I haven't watched the whole HD DVD but I quickly scanned through different scenes and my mouth was open the whole time. It looks absolutely flawless and sounds incredible.

the picture quality is indeed amazing. and they used only 13 gb! the second disc is a normal dvd, its common for this label. the same with hannibal rising and der wixxer 2
