It's the French version.

lol, that's the one I just described. It has 5 discs (1 HD DVD, 3 DVD, 1 CD), 4 of which are housed on the inner cover of the 'book' (2 on each side) and the pages of the book are in between. Also it has a very thick outer sleeve (DVD size). The packaging looks very well done and to me it's one of the best looking packaging I've ever seen on any DVD, period. The only downside of course is no English audio/subs.

Ahh so the pictures where everything is laid out just makes it look a lot bigger than it actually is. Good (or bad) to know

Default My thoughts

I bought this blind, after all the buzz died down. All I knew was that it had one for best make-up and it was directed by Olivier Dahan (he directed Crimson Rivers 2:Angels of the Apocalypse), so I had no idea what I was getting into.

I really love when blind buys come through. This piece of celluloid art shines on every possible level imaginable. It's got so much heart from Edith Piaf's messed up childhood, and messed up life. She was pretty much a tortured artiste. Her legacy is her music. I will be digging some of it up.

The picture is refrence, and so is the sound. 5 stars on both counts. The low light(ing) is top notch, makes you feel like you're there.

It's a "perfect" film, IMO.

If you can track it down, get it, it's art of the hieghest caliber.
