I just got Pans Labyrinth, so I'm excited to hear it full DTS-MA glory!

Haven't watched it fully but so cool to see the DTS-MA light up from a HD DVD instead of from my Blu Ray player.

I've got about 10 HD DVD's in TRUEHD and 1 in DTS-MA.

I'm not sure if the BD has it but the HD DVD has the PIP visual commentary.

It probably wouldn't since it was released back before P1.1 was even available. I bought the HD DVD because well, it was released right at the end of the war, so it felt like something of a collectors item at the time. I was blown away by the quality even with DTS-Core, I can only imagine what the lossless sounds like. And yeah, to do pip it'd have to be thrown back into internal decode mode, but for watching the film it's self I would opt for bitstream to get the bump in audio quality.

I would think $90 is low but HD DVD players can be tough to sell at times and some might have sold that low. I sold one in great shape for $150 and I think that is still closer to the norm.

I hope I can get at least $180 each for the two I have that are still under warranty with BestBuy have have barely been used.
I just need to find my receipts with the extended warranty on them.

Well I finally watched it and i've got a smile on my face. It's a legit 7.1 mix which sounded really good. No, i'm not saying it's the best DTSMA track i've heard, but it holds it's own and it's very surround-intensive. I only have a 6.1 setup but I could definitely hear activity in the back speaker.

Suprisingly, all the tracks seemed to be DTS including featurettes.

i think anything above $100 is a bit TOO much for the Deceased.. if i'm gonna pay that I would rather put that money to use on a new BD player that I don't own yet (BD60, S360)
I remember gettin my A30 for $70. Me wanting the A35 is more like a completist type hobby
(meaning I wanna own the top of the line player from the 3 line, just like I own the XA2)

They should be easy to find since they are universal power cords that work with other devices. Try ebay or craiglist and make sure it's the right voltage.

I do not recall there being anything special about the ac plug on the back of hd-dvd players. Just look carefully at the shape - and stop at a local Radio Shack - they probably have them . . .
