Default Problems plraying DVDs on HD-A30

I've got a Toshiba HD-A30 hooked up to an InFocus ScreenPlay 4805 by way of component video and audio is sent out via HDMI to a Sony 720. When I put a DVD in, the screen goes black but the audio works fine. I've looked at the setup menu, but everything looks ok. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you need to go into the players menu and set the proper resolution for the TV via component. Some TV's won't output full res through component like progressive playback.
