A3 firmware and hardware questions! help?

I just picked up a a3 dirt ass cheap so I could put my add on away. I'm used to my xbox and ps3 just auto doing firmware but my a3 won't auto detect my info, can it? If not can I get online and burn it to a disc and then upload it? If so where do I go for it and how do I get it??? My final question is this a good player? Any problems?? Yes it is slow but it gets the job done.

I'd call (800) 457-7777 and order the update from Toshiba. Should come in 2 to 3 days.

Why don't you just set up your internet connection? Jam an ethernet cable in the back and set up the connection. IF you are a cable internet user likely all you have to do is set it to DHCP on and that is it. From there it is easy to download the firmware.

Last time I tried this it asked me for proxy settings n' stuff. Ill try dhcp and see if it will just sign on then. If not ill call that number the last guy said thx.
