Default LOTR Extended quality...
How do these dvd's look upconverted on HD, say an A30?

I have been waiting to purchase my own set of these instead of borrowing from friends and I feel like it will be time in a few weeks.

So how iare the P & AQ?

I would think anything filmed digitally is gonna upscale extremely well.

On the same topic, does anyone know how "The Last King of Scotland" look upscaled?

It is one of my favorite movies, thanks to Whitaker, and I have held off buying it in hopes of seeing an HD release...sadly, not an option.

I rented it a while back, it looked pretty decent upscaled. It is a very good movie.
