Default 1080p/24 on a 1080p TV with HD-A30?

Have a 1080p HDTV to go with a Toshiba HD-A30 (latest firmware). My TV accepts a 1080p/24 source, although for some reason it doesn't pass every line of resolution.

Which should I display my movies in? I've switched back and forth between 1080p and 1080p/24, but I presently have it on the 1080p setting.

If I were you I'd set it on 1080/24p and be done with it.

I use an A30 and have mine set to permenant 1080P/24. To be honest I apparently am not bothered by "judder" and I can't tell the difference but since my BD player also outputs 1080P/24 I just set it to that and use a monoproce switcher to go between them with no issues.

If your TV can de-interlace properly, set it to 1080i. That way nature, sports, concerts and porn aren't going all wonky weird.

what sort of TV?

Because accepting 1080p24 and displaying 1080p24 are not the same thing. It is very VERY possible your TV accepts 1080p24 but only displays 1080p60. Not mention that 1080p doesn't appear to work very well (at either 24 fps or 60 fps) - so as posted above setting your player to output 1080i and letting your TV work it's magic is a good way to go.
