Default A3 vs. A2?

I used to have an A2, but I sold to go blu. Decided to come back so I can have the movies I really like. How is the A3 compared to the A2?

Should be same level of tech just a newer generation. So should be just a bit more solid of a product. Dont think you will find that much difference between the two.

The HD-A2 converts everything to DTS to send out the optical port.
The HD-A3 converts everything to DD 5.1 to send out the optical port.

A3 has zoom I dont think A2 could zoom.

LOL not a lot of difference really. A3 might load a tiny bit faster (maybe).

The A2 just seem's better built, I have both and can say the older version IMO is better.

A-2 has better audio if you use optical. It sends everything out as 1.5 DTS. The A-3 sends everything out as 640 DD.

If you use HDMI for audio it doesnt matter but as someone that has had an A-1, A-2, A-3, and an A-35. I would say that the A-2 was the best at optical audio output.

+1 on the better build quality of the A2 vs the A3 ... and I like the white LED display on the A2 better than the green LED display of the A3

I just like everything better about the A2, the PQ seems sharper on Upcoverted movies, The build is stronger like I said, The design is looks great and very stylistic. I don't find it any slower that the A3 really at least not to the point that I would notice.

Right now my A3 is under warranty and I have the A2 hooked up, I will likely switch em up cause I want to use the player while I can still get it fixed for free. but as soon as that's up I'm switching back.
