Need help with analog out

I have the RCAHDV5000 and an Onkyo HTR500. I want to do analog out, but I'm not quite sure what I need to do and I tried but couldn't find anything when I searched. I apologize if I sound like a total moron, but I've never really fooled around with the audio before. Do I need special cables for the center channel and the subwoofer? Once everything is in place, what do I need to set the player and the receiver to to make sure it all works?

You can get a set of 5.1 cables pretty inexpensive from Amazon marketplace shoppers. I don't have an RCA but I used my X-A1 with analog and I think they are similar.

I bought a set from ram electronics it was about $16 for a 5.1 cable. I wasnt looking for high end quality since Ill be upgrading sooner or later to a new HDMI receiver. For the price I cant complain as I haven't had an issue with the cables.

If you are looking for higher end cable then I have seen Blue Jeans cables recommended.

I use these. I found them for $39 from seller on Amazontoday but they get lower at times. From Amazon they are $65.
