Tried to download the file via Toshiba's website but when I select the player I have and agree to the download terms, it kicks me over to owner manuals??

Crap! I'm getting the same thing. Plus the info lists the A1 for some reason. The A1 isn't capable of 1080P output. Maybe Toshiba will activate the download on the servers later.

Plus when I check this Toshiba Canada download page.

It doesn't show the new download yet. i hope it shows up by the time I get home tonight so I can try it out.

I don't think that the A-2 can do 1080P nor 24f. I would love to be wrong though.

If you read the post, more than one thing has been updated, such as with networking stuff and HDMI.

I haven't seen any reports of the internet connection working yet. I'll try it when I get home.

Details of the update for XA2/A20:
http://tacp.toshiba.com/tacpassets-i...NoteXA2A20.pdf

I'm hoping the output range selection update helps with black crush for my DVI connection.

Toshiba has the wrong URL for the download. After you see the wrong page, change the end of the URL from 2200U.zip to 2501N.zip

It's now working for player-based install. :-)

Can't wait to see this on the XBR4.
