The only thing I can see is that it appears to have either Japanese or Chinese writing on the back cover? Could it be a China format HD disc? If you check the guys feedback, it should give one pause in itself....Although I see someone bought one of the copies!

yeah, i'm guessing its the chinese hd format. The first time i clicked on the link the pic did not appear. This time it did. I asked the seller what country the disc originated from but no response yet.

and yeah, quite a few negs/ntrls imo considering the # of items sold.

I saw the link yesterday. I just assumed it was CBHD or an erroneous listing. I thought about emailing the seller, but then figured I'd just let it go.

Looking forward to the day that those CBHD discs can be played on our HD DVD players. (hope that someone comes up with that firmware upgrade in the near future).

No, definitely not... Check out his other items for sale. He claims to also have Last House on the Left, State of Play and others. Some of these are just obvious Bluray imports... I mean the bluray logo is on the artwork for goodness sake! He's obviously a moron who thinks HD DVD and Bluray are one in the same. But a couple others are printed different and I wonder if those definitely are the China HD discs... Even the actual Bluray discs he has, may not work here if they are region locked titles. He is going to be busy processing returns!

Decided to part ways with my HD DVDs...just listed the lot on ebay. Auction is for 2 players (A3 and an A2) along with 119 HDs (most of which are still sealed.)

http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260502126711

Asking $399 w/ free shipping (broke it down to like $2.50 a movie and $50/player...do you guys think that sounds resonable?)

Sound like a good price to me. By the way, the link would not work for me. But then again, I'm at work on a government computer, so maybe Ebay is blocked here
