Default Are there any more places selling HD DVD?

I'm thinking things have mostly dried up. Any good places left??

You guys/gals up north are lucky, I wish western New York was the leftover HD DVD dumping ground. Only place that has them is the FYE superstores, and they want your left testicle for used discs, not to mention the few new ones they have sitting there taking up space for obscene prices.

Yeah, HMV is the only store I've seen any at, but you're hit and miss on the "tons" that were reported above. My local store has about 16 different movies. The Zellers in my area have returned all their HD DVDs, and Giant Tiger also returned theirs. One of the national pharmacy stores (not Shoppers) had them in Ontario, but those are long gone. Walmart hasn't seen any since last year in my area, although I know that some people had them a few months ago. Some people mentioned grocery stores, but none to be found around me. I think online is the only option in Canada.

Fry's in the US apparently is one of the last locations, beside those grocery stores, that has any stock. Haven't heard a peep about grocery stores in a long time though (Kroger).

traderbora's supply has pretty much dried up compared to what it once was. Piece of mind books still seems to get their hands on some additional titles occasionally. I've now been relegated to combing this forum, half.com and ebay for those last few titles or so that interest me.

Yeah iNet doesnt have much for newer titles err or should I say titles I don't already have. I haven't checked out piece of mind books or half.com in a while however. I might try HMV again on my lunch hour today there is one close.

Superstore you can find titles like:

Chuck And Larry
Mr. Beans Holiday
Dream Girls
Miami Vice
Land of The Dead
Evening
Atonement
Elizabeth

And some others...

Zellers use to have a lot to pick through, but I think they finally got rid of the HD-DVD section.

I was at the RCSS on Taunton Rd. in Oshawa, ON today and they had the Season 6, Part 1 box of The Sopranos for $5.99 (or 2 for $10). Only HD DVD I saw in the bin. And yes, I bought it (along with Season 1 of Veronica Mars - standard def).

I've been buying most of mine from Inetvideo.com, Deepdiscount.com, and Frys.com. Amazon's prices are high unless you get them from a merchant. I just ordered a bunch of HD DVD's from "traderbora" on Amazon for less than $4 each new/sealed. I've seen a few combo titles at the Burlington Coat Factory store for around $6 but they are the titles that have been cheap to buy and most people already own.

There are still a few titles out there that I want to get but they are hard to find and expensive. What I did was look at the list of every HD DVD made for sale in the US and wrote down a list of the ones I still wanted to get. Most I have been able to find cheap online at the sites I mentioned above. There are still about 20 titles that I would like to buy but they cost too much.

I was in hmv today and they still had about 3 racks full in their hd area which is maybe 50 titles for 4/20.
