While the linked auction has indeed sold out, there are currently more copies available from the same seller at the same "Buy It Now" price in other auctions:

Thanks OP!

In for one!

Excellent. I suspect these will become very collectible.

Thanks Reaper.

It's not a calibration disc. It's a demo disc.

I think this is just a demo disc for DTS-HD Master Audio. I guess it's not exactly going to be a true collectible disc.

Why would you say that? Because this one seller just happens to have a lot of them?

I highly doubt there were more than a few thousand produced and of those probably not more than hundreds are in circulation.

Many were produced...probably around 20-30k in circulation. They are not rare by any counts. This guy probably was suppose to hand them out and took home the extras. They are rare as any other demo disc you would get from Nintendo, Sony, etc.

You sure? I've seen a few pop up on eBay over the year and, before now, they've gone for quite a bit considering the content.

Correct.

I have seen some on ebay get up to $50 each for these in past.

They are still collectible from the standpoint that these discs are NOT normally available to the general public. They are promotional discs produced by DTS to be given out to CE dealers and industry professionals who attend CES, CEDIA or DTS sponsored trade seminars.

They do make fantastic discs for showing off your system.

At $ 8 they are well worth it.

i just ordered one. hopefully it is what we think it is as this disc has been hard to come by for a decent price. some guy on another forum wanted me to buy a new ID4 blu ray and have it sent to his house for this disc...i think this is a better deal
