Default thehut.com has Pan's Labyrenth back in stock

The titles states all. Thehut in the UK has Pans back in stock for 4.93 Pounds. With delivery, should be around $14 USD. Also can I say thanks to the US dollar for making it cheap to buy HD DVD's from the US

Best Regards,

Mathew

Well, I know for sure the UK version can not be better because the US one has outstanding PQ and a DTS MA (lossless) soundtrack. So at best the UK version is equal.

Depends on if you like DNR or not. The US New Line release has massive DNR applied to smooth out the transfer. Audio is unquestionably better than the UK release. The UK release has a transfer that is closer to the original master of the film but still has some problems.

What are the problems for the UK version?
What would you rate? UK or US first? Thanks

I don't really remember to be honest. Less DNR, maybe some EE, something like that.

I went with the US release for the audio and the massive wealth of extras. The transfer looks OK to me but I never catch any of these filters myself I just read about other people who see them
