Went into a HMV store today and I noticed a sign that said HD-DVDs were to be recalled shortly and there will be no further price reductions.
I am not sure if I believe it considering the large amount of stock the store had and their staff telling me for months that they would be removed in a month. |

I hope this doesn't affect their online store unless these disks will be sold through the online store

Saw the sign at HMV at 333 Yonge today. It's a shame they are going to send their stock back without a true fire sale like their UK counterpart has had on, especially given that they have the best selection of HD DVDs in Toronto now.

Not 100% sure when this is in effect, but they gave out discount coupons as a thank you to some people who had ordered from them before. |

It's hmv.ca that is no longer taking online orders.
