hd dvd HMV (UK) - More Reductions

American Gangster at £3.99 is not bad at all, plus a few others.

Yeah.. well take your bitchin' somewhere else.
There are more people in the world than in the USA.
We're not interested in your irrelevant opinion.

Anyone in the UK want to hook me up since you get free delivery? I'd make it worth your while. Please PM me if interested.

I'll admit some of us in the USA complain about shipping, some even complain about the cheap ass shipping and discs from iNetvideo.

But $9.71 shipping each disk is outrageous. Who do they think they are Ebay?
it came out a little better for me closer to $8.80, but when the disc and the shipping cost the same it is problem for some.

Still thanks to Shaun for posting this

HMV is high, considering Amazon UK is £3.08 for the 1st disc in an order and then only £.99 for each add'l. disc in the same order. And I think that's where HMV is ridiculous, charging £4.50 for each item, even if it's in the same shipment. So, I just use them for a few titles with significant price drops & multi-disc releases like Bleak House & Hotel Babylon, and save multiple purchases for sites like The Hut & Amazon that will give combined shipping discounts.

It is amazing how many threads with UK sales are literally populated with endless complaints about shipping costs from americans.
I don't mean to be rude - but it is getting tedious.

If you people don't like the shipping costs, then don't buy it and don't tell us about it.

Also thanks again to Shaun for posting.
The UK seems to be having a few clearance sales lately.

It goes both ways people form the UK being gouged by US sellers. Some of it can't be helped seeing as the USPS increased shipping cost. But on a big order (more than 3 items) it is gouging.
Most of the time we just get together, pool our resources and do a group buy.(Amazon Germany, FR, Bol, etc)
I've been buying disc from the UK for years now, long before HD dvd, and I know how it works sometime you can get a good deal sometime you can't. Amazon UK has been very good to me.

I think most of the complaints come from sticker shock, they are already to buy, 10 items in the cart click on check out and BAM!
At that is ignoring the ugly truth of the weak dollar.
