I was in my local Fry's yesterday (in Woodland Hills, CA near Los Angeles) and even though their Blu-ray section is expanding, pushing out their HD DVD section that is shrinking, I noticed a clerk was re-stocking the HD DVD shelves with more copies of many available titles and they were marked at $11.99. I, myself did not buy anything as I have moved on to Blu-ray and have frozen my HD DVD collection at a mere 22 discs. However, there are some good buys for those of you who are still looking to increase your HD DVD collection with titles you may not have purchased yet. Looks like the Fry's on line store has the same prices for those who do not have a store in their area.

Fry's in Arlington, Texas also has a few good deals and also has several copies of the Complete Matrix Box Set for 34.99.
Pretty good deal.

Just came back from Fry's in Houston. They really added a lot of movies. Like 30 of each title.
Picked up Training Day, Happy Feet, The Shining, and The Cowboys for 11.99 each. Not under 10, but much cheaper than deep discount. |
