Dec 7th Secret sale at Wal-mart

For those who don't know I work at Wal*Mart, well after seeing many post on the final secret sale befor Christmas I decided to investigate last night this is what I found.

First up is a list of different items. Includes a Vizio 50" A2 and A3s and a 40gb PS3

Next is What I'm assuming is the A3. Two movies included in box (300 and Bourne Ultimatum, yes Ultimatum) and additional 5 in store and then the 5 free to be sent off for a total of 12 free movies.

Thirdly the A2 (I think) with 5 free movies at store and 5 free debate. Total of 10 movies.

Small point, but don't you think that's a typo on the part of Wal-Mart with the Bourne Ultimatum included in the box? It's Identity that's been included with the 3rd gen players, and this sale is Dec. 7 & 8, and Ultimatum doesn't street until Dec. 11.

I agree that's a typo on the part of Wal-Mart with the Bourne Ultimatum included in the box, but we can hope.

$300 for the A3? Boo. That's crappy. I'd much rather have 5 instantly free and $100 off (which is the deal I got at Best Buy on November 5th) versus 7 instantly free and full price. The A2 is a good deal, it's similar to the A3 deal from Best Buy and Amazon.com.

it says min. 2 for lots of things, is that really how many they get on average is 2? or is it more like 5 - 10?

I know I was staring at the screen when I seen that. I know if they put up the ad like that one, and you get Idenity, first ppl gonna be upset then that's false advertisement, and you know where that can lead

That means all the stores that are doing that offer,(the only 2 things not gonna be in all stores is the Vizio 50 and the laptop) will get at least two in. but could always get more

Compared to Amazon's deal last week this is nothing great... Amazon offered 10 movies on the A3 and was $100 cheaper...

What's the selling price of the Vizio and Gateway?...

At one point it was $140 cheaper. $160/10 free movies, with no tax (unlike Wal-Mart) assuming you live in the right state.

Its kind of a disappointing sale compared to the $99 dollar player sale. $298 for the A3 and $198 for the A2. They are basically the same player on top of the fact that they will have a quantity of 4 in each store? What kind of sale is that? At least stock an adequate amount at your stores sheesh...

It is still cheaper than a blu ray. Also how much is the laptop, or did I miss that.
