Thumbs up Target now carrying HD-DVD

Target stores are now carring HD-DVD's for 19.99 for all non combo disks. This is a great deal when compared to all other brick and mortor outlets save Wal Mart. Most Wal Marts have poor selection, no new titles and move stock around. Not very reliable at all.

I checked out a local target and they had a small but decent selection of Blu-Ray and HD DVD with a divider in their respective Blue and Red colors. Not too bad.

Yeah murch I was pleased by the display and the prices. Although selection isnt so great. It is just nice to have an alternative to BB. Walmart had them for a few weeks back at launch time but no more.

    go look up batman begins...

I was hoping target had it at $20 so BB would price match, but it's 24.99...

at $18 amazon still wins the war...

but i'll admit, i'll go to a BB or Target for instant gratification...

sucks that the BBs in Houston get all HD DVD releases a week after street date...

Well as hard as Taget makes it to search for something here is a HD-DVD search. Batman is indeed 24.99 now. I bought it on the tuesday it came out for 19.99 and just saw it the other day for that much at the store. However the vast majority are still 19.99. Here is a search link.

Kong has changed from a combo to not a combo so many times I dont know what to believe. I just print the pic from Target and get it from BB or CC if Target doesnt have it in stock. I am not a fan of BB or CC however CC gives me 110% of the difference so you can get a great deal there sometimes since the HD-DVD's in their system ring up as 28.99. I got some a few weeks ago for 17.99.

the BBs here won't match anything from the internet... and they will call the nearest location of whatever store it is and make sure it's in stock at that store... if not, they won't match... I've had screaming matches about it with them before... lol

You have to buy 2 titles at Amazon to get free shipping though. $18 does not qualify for free shipping. You have to spend at least $25. That's why $24.99 is funny to me.
