Pretty crazy news. This is a big boost to you HDDVD supporters out there. Especially after the BIG wave of Blu-ray news last month. People need to show monster support to Paramount with Shrek and Transformers on HDDVD. If there's 350,000 HDDVD owners out there, then this is your chance. There's is no denying Blu-ray 2007 numbers so far and their superiority. Don't make Paramount regret their decision. Let's see 250,000 Tranformers sold on one format

BD pre-orderers will be contacted shortly on the affected titles. The Blu-ray camp needs to find a way to get these 5 million PS3 owners to start buying Blu-ray movies. I for one was disappointed overall with the "300" numbers on both sides. Obviously not everyone liked the movie but 185,000 copies sold out of literally MILLIONS of Blu-ray players out there? Besides being the best selling HD title ever, it also shows how little support there is yet. HD DVD isn't much better. Sony needs to put a movie or 2 in the PS3 boxes, to give people a taste of what they bought. Not here send this in and wait 6 weeks.

And Lastly........... Transformers and Shrek 3 will be added to the site tonight, just in time for the free shipping event. It's a great time to pre-order!

Just saw a Blades of Glory commercial advertising only DVD and HDDVD. Not sure if they're actually scapping the already pressed Blu-ray copies.

These are currently the official release dates. Oct. 16 and Nov. 13th.

Futureshop.ca has pulled Blades of Glory Blu-ray.
