I understand your point, but I think Amazon is the best place for me to purchase my Blu-Rays due to the bulk of ordering I do on Amazon. I usually order AT LEAST 15-20 Blu-Rays a month, and if I were to choose the shipping speed I like it would be $2.98 per shipment....so it easily pays for itself in about two months....BECAUSE I order other items from Amazon as well, like video games, hygiene products, etc. So, the $80 really pays for itself. Also, I always have the Prime renewal fee set up so it charges me the $80 after I get my Tax Refund check. Therefore, I don't even notice the money is gone...

As far as the Amazon line of credit goes...thats no big deal because I budget myself really well. I set aside a certain amount of money for stuff that I buy on Amazon each month, I spend that money with the Amazon Card, and then I pay off the card at the beginning of each month with the money I had set aside. Therefore, I'm not really running up a credit card bill, and I get $25 Amazon Gift Cards in the process. Win-Win situation for me.

It's worth it, if you buy as much as you buy from them for sure. I'm actually trying out Prime right now, and love how quick you get the movies. I'm good on the Amazon card though. You sir are fiscally responsible, good job! I prefer to use my debit card for my purchases. Although, I did read an article the other day that using your debit card online is not a good idea.

Yeah, I try to be fiscally responsible, because I've seen/heard about too many horror stories involving massive credit card debt. Also, I work as a teacher, so I only get paid once a month....and that has really taught me how to budget my money down to the last dollar

Amazon Prime is a great service though. If I pre-order the movies, I seem to get them the day before release date, so its very nice
