Default What two Disney movies would you like to see hit blu-ray the most?

If you could pick any two Disney films to have on Blu-ray, one being animated and the other being live action. Which two would they be?

If you had to pick 2! I know its tough....

I'd go with,

Animation: The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad "1950" (Mainly because there's little to no chance of it ever happining?) The extras would include Silly Symphonies: The Old Mill "1937" and The Ugly Duckling "1939" all in 1080p.

Live Action: Dragonslayer "1981" Its always been a underrated favorite of mine. I think it would fair pretty well on Blu-ray. Maybe someday?

I was going to pick Song of the South but imo the movie itself isn't all that great.... I love the animation segments though. I think Disney would have their work cut out trying to restore that print. Not that they ever will.

Ok, I'll stop rambling now.....

What 2 would you pick?

I would go for The Black Hole and Tron. Two of Disney's most underrated movies ever.

It doesn't really matter to me, there are a dozen classic animated films I want to see and I expect we will see those films released over the next 6 years, 2 per year, one older classic and one newer classic. Disney will throw in a couple of the lesser older films each year and of course the current films will be released each year. The Disney release schedule is going to be what the Disney release schedule will be and I can live with that. Fortunately, I like the Pixar films really well and those will be released timely.

Not sure if you want Disney branded films or anything Disney owns the rights to and will release.

Animated: Spirited Away (probably Treasure Planet or Brother Bear if Disney branded)

Live Action: easy choice for me.. Never Cry Wolf (1983)

Edit: Isn't Dragonslayer a Paramount release?

I always thought it was Disney? Your right though, in the US the rights are owned by Paramount. It was co-produced by both. Everywhere else, its owned by Disney.

I forgot about Never Cry Wolf. That was a great flick. Sick , but great

There are several I would like to hit BD, but if I had to pick two I would go with Robin Hood and Mickey's Christmas Carol. It's not Disney, but I also really like Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I'd like Ducktales: The Movie and Mickey's Christmas Carol. But I really want them to start releasing their live actions classics.

I'm going to go with Finding Nemo for animation, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit for my other choice.

for animated i may already be spoiled with Wall E and Nightmare Before Christmas, but seeing as how thats Pixar and Miramax...I'd have to go with Fantasia because id love to have that lossless audio track blasting through my speakers.

For live action, I'd love to see a GOOD release of Gangs of New York, but again not directly Disney... so i would go with the Pirates series which is great so far!
