Goonies by a slim margin over Ghostbusters.

I love all three, but Ghostbusters is without a doubt one of my favorite movies of all time, so it wins pretty easily.

I chose Gremlins. I'm in the minority (but all three are great)

It's a battle of the fun "flicks that start with a "G" and came from the 80's.

Impossible choice. I can't pick a favorite. It's like asking which is better?

- Blade Runner
- Aliens
- The Empire Strikes Back
- Raiders of the Lost Ark

They're all so freaking awesome and classic.

Easy: Blade Runner.

As for the original post, Ghostbusters by a mile, followed by Gremlins. Goonies is a piece of garbage that only has sentimental value.

Its available in the UK. The picture is the best i have seen it, though its definitely a cheap release. The extras have been grafted on from what was a special edition DVD box set from 2001. Since its a stand alone movie they will have to come up with some novel way of making us buy it again. For me the picture and sound quality would have to be flawless!

Ghostbusters followed very closely by Gremlins.

Goonies is under the barrel somewhere between Star Trek V and Manos:Hands of Fate.

Agreed. I just rewatched it for the first time since my childhood and it was mediocre at best, incredibly fucking annoying at worst.

I was hoping that the gangsters would catch them and do unspeakable things to them.
