Wow, tough choice. Both are absolutely amazing movies, but I've gotta give the nod to T2 though.

I'm really curious how this poll will shake out.

I think for its time T2 was groundbreaking and it was my favorite movie for a very long time but I just think that TDK was a better overall movie... by a small margin

i was 2 when T2 came out (91) and i didnt see it till i bought the bd. while i thought it was fantastic as an action movie, a sci-fi movie, and just as terminator movie (since i saw the 1st prior), it's just that kind of a movie. TDK is a much more deeper and thinking man's movie that has many themes and metaphors to it. i dont always appreciate a deeper and thinking man's movie over an action/sci fi movie but when the movie does it as good as TDK does, there's no contest. but i'm probably also swayed because i'm a die hard batman fan and nolan got it perfect with his series and then you're throwing in the factor that i have a christian bale obsession so i might be a little bias...

I would love to give the nod to Chistian and heath but I have to go with Terminator 2 on this one.It was such a great movie and holds up excellent with action and sci fi movies being released now.The one bad thing about Terminator 2 is the fact that it set a bar so hight that future installments would always have a hard time competing. Although Terminator 3 was good it couldnt touch 2. I have high hopes for Salvation.

T2 is my favorite film of all time. T2 got me into the industry, and turned me on to the concept of film as an art form.


I'll always be grateful for that.

two of the greatest sequels of all time next to godfather part II, both movies that set the bar to a new and almost unthinkable level (T2 was already explained, TDK became the first comic book movie that is a gritty and realistic crime drama that ranks with the best cds of all time), T2 pretty much became the greatest action movie of all time, tdk became the greatest comic book/superhero film of all time, etc.
