Default SHAOLIN SOCCER vs KUNG FU HUSTLE

If you could only pick one of these movies to watch, which is better: SHAOLIN SOCCER or KUNG FU HUSTLE?

    Default Kung Fu Hustle FTW

I like both but Kung Fu Hustle is the better film by far.

Having seen both, I'd say I'll still pick Shaolin Soccer as it was the original film of its kind with stephen cho and the guys and it's just more fun for me. Kung Fu hustle clearly has a bigger budget and production though. To the OP,i t'll be interesting to run this poll again once the BD version of SS comes out so we can see the film as intended.

Kung Fu Hustle is the better film in that it plays better to an international audience. The soccer matched is SS are great but the rest of the film is painted in very broad strokes like a 70s Disney live action movie.
DVD: over 2150. BD: About 750. HD DVD: 80ish.
    PS3 Slim (region B), XBox360 with add-on (X2) , Sony BDP-760 (Region B), Sony BDP-350 (Region B), Sony BDP-350 (Region A), Panasonic DMP-BD35 (Multiregion), Limit BDP-M100 (Multiregion), Panasonic DMP-BD-110 (Multiregion).

For me Shaolin Soccer was something pretty original and fresh, I saw it theatrically with my wife as we got free tickets from somewhere. It was a pretty big hit in Japan. I like it better than KFH because it seemed more organic and original when it came out KFH is more polished and all but it seemed less original and less inspired to me. I still liked it as well but I voted for Shaolin Soccer here.

I greatly prefer Shaolin Soccer to Kung Fu Hustle (which I frankly have a problem sitting through.) Shaolin Soccer and God of Cookery need the HD treatment asap.

Watched 'em both again and my vote goes to SS purely because the ending of KFH is a bit of a let down.
