I like Falling Down but The Game takes this easily.

They're completely different, apart from Michael Douglass being in them lol

Falling Down wins though. Especially the briefcase scene.

The Game... not even close.

Falling Down's anti-protagonist quickly veers from sympathetic to nonsensical parody (learning how to fire a bazooka from a kid? WTF?). And don't get me started on the future rapist of the Batman franchise, Joel Schumacher...

I did like the clever double entendre of the title though. D-FENS's descent into madness measured against Prendergast's wife's obsession with a recreation of the London Bridge. "Falling Down" indeed.

Hmm, much more difficult one. Falling Down just b/c it's badass. The Game is awesome though.

Edit - Kudos to hoosier for the awesome avatar and sig.

Arrow I would pick The Game.

The Game is a better piece of cinematic work for me.
Everything in it is well choreographed and acted.

Falling down is more performance driven, mostly by a single guy.

They're both good movies but because of the ending the Game loses rewatch value.

Let me start this off by saying that I think both are definitely 5 star movies for me. They both have flaws, but they both entertain me to no end...to the tune of 5 out of 5 for me

That being said, I just love the creepy atmosphere that The Game evokes. I love the mysterious premise that encompasses the film. Most of all though, I love watching movies with "twist endings", and the Game has one of the best twists....even though the twist might water down repeat viewings, I just like watching Michael Douglas' facial expressions/reactions when he finds out. Good Stuff.

Falling Down is a fantastic piece of cinema as well....but its fueled completely by Douglas' performance, and it does start to lose a little bit of steam and believability by the end of the picture. Also, the movie just seems more dated than "The Game" does.

So, I give this one to "The Game." And BTW....where the fuck is my "The Game" Blu-Ray? I don't want to hold on to my HD DVD player for this and three other movies...
