Amazon is still impressive

I know that some of the Amazon prices have been going up (and some blus are only 5% off rather than the old 10%) - but I just recently bought 3 new blus (both national treasures, and narnia) and got the free shipping from them.

I ordered last Friday, and even with the long holiday weekend, they shipped Tuesday and arrived Wednesday.

It's a really anecdotal story, and luck of the draw provided me with a nearby distribution facility that had all the films in stock - but I was pretty blown away. I got 3 brand new blus for just around $60. I remember the days when dvd's were new, and new releases were usually $21 or $22. $20 a pop for a new release is very fair to me, and I'd certainly recommend using Amazon to anyone I meet (even if they're fairly skeptical about buying stuff on the internet).

Yup, Amazon is the epitome of what a business should be about. Great prices and great customer service. They have kept me coming back, and if I do ever see something a little cheaper elsewhere, I will buy from Amazon just to reward them for all of the times I did save money using them.

I also have Amazon Prime, which has more than paid for itself. Great, GREAT company!
